Radhanath Swami on Curse Or Blessing?

Results of our past activities - karma - can be used in both ways. Destructively, when we use it for our own enjoyment; and constructively, by employing it in service to God. When one becomes attracted to a pure devotee, when one takes spirituality seriously, then any material karmic situation, whether a curse or a boon, helps one on his way closer to God. Therefore, it’s our choice how we see the challenges of our lives - as curses or as blessings.

This would be the perfection of our lives to see every incident or problem in our lives as a blessing, and the only way to be successful in this endeavour is to learn from and follow saints like Radhanath Swami.

  18. We generally forget God when we are happy and blame Him for our past misdeeds. Thank you Radhanath Swami for explaining to us how to use both these situations to come closer to God.
