Radhanath Swami on Criminals

We are all criminals. The fact that we are not in the Kingdom of God is the proof. This material existence is our prison. Our desires to enjoy and lord over the material energy independent of God are the shackles. No matter who we are - president, scholar, businessman, or sweeper – we have nothing to be proud of, we are all criminals. Let’s humble ourselves and understand the Lord’s mercy. He personally comes in this prison house, or sends His representatives, just to deliver us, and to attract our hearts back to Him.

  1. All religions state this fact that Radhanath Swami mentions - we have sinned thats why we are here in this place of suffering.

  2. This straight-forward statement by Radhanath Swami should jolt us out of our deep slumber. Instead of longing for the true love for God, we are getting further carried away from God by our limited & selfish materialistic aspirations & egoistic propensities. Association of bonafide sadhus is the only remedial course of action to get back on track to spirituality & eternal bliss.

  6. Radhanath Swami is so humble that he would count himself among us, while we all know how great he is. He has transformed the lives of many people in this world, which is not an easy job.

  7. Denying supremacy of GOD and not engaging in His service is the biggest crime which all in this material world are guilty of committing. Exceptions are those exalted, confidential associates of GOD who come to this world to deliver the “criminals”. Radhanath Swami is one such soul extremely dear to GOD

  14. Radhanath swami has stated a wonderful point. Unless and until we do not make ourselves humble and submit to the Lord we will not be able to get lasting peace in this material world. Peace can be attained only by coming to understanding that the Supreme lord is Lord and Master of all the we behold.

It may seem a little too pessimistic to say that we are criminals but it is a reality. The fact is that anyone who has come to this world has rebelled against the will of the lord and that's why we are suffering in this jail! The solution is readily available if only we are willing to accept it - surrender to god.
