Radhanath Swami on Love and Free Will

The perfection of the perfect love is that God, who is fully satisfied and complete in Himself, feels pain when He sees His children suffering in forgetfulness of Him. We may consider ourselves small or insignificant but God feels separation from us. Yet He does not interfere with our free will because love cannot be dictated, love cannot be forced; it has to be expressed by us of our own sweet choice.

  4. Radhanath Swami is absolutely correct. God is waiting anxiously for us to turn towards Him for His mercy & shelter. Its for us to take that first step of our own free will which again God has provided us. There is no concept of slavery in the spiritual realm. It has to be voluntary & out of pure love for Him.

  5. Great message by Radhanath Swami. God is looking for a real/genuine love from all of us, and if we don't understand that, we are making the Lord bereft of our love and which would be a great dis-service unto Him.

  8. Everybody values his or her right for freedom, but if we misuse that free will we will have to face the consequences.

  9. Thats the reason manier times if we try to do something wrong we get multiple signals of not doing it but we get carried away and misuse our freewill. God is merciful he doesn;t loose hope he keeps giving living entities opportunities to get out. Srila Prabhupada and his associates have appeared to show us the way now its up to us.

  10. The Supreme Lord is so merciful he doesn't give up hope and is always concerned about his children who are suffering in this material world

  16. What is that love that is forced? We are naturally in love with God, being His eternal parts, but we have forgotten that.
