Radhanath Swami on The Right Situation

If God wants to protect us, no one can harm us, and if God wants to harm us, no one can protect us. Not a blade of grass moves without the sanction of the Lord. He is orchestrating every moment in such a way that is a favorable opportunity for all of us to make spiritual advancement and we must recognize that. In good or bad times, honor or dishonor, pleasure or pain, help or defeat, we should know that God is putting us in just the right situation to help us surrender to Him.

  2. Lord Krishna says in BG 12th chapter that one who does not get affected by happiness/sorrow, advantage/loss etc is very close and dear devotee to Him. Radhanath Swami has mentioned similar thing so nicely here.

  4. Radhanath Swami has very nicely expanded upon the famous traditional Vaishnava phrase - "rakhe Krishna mare ke, mare Krishna rakhe ke".

Absolutely true! At another place Radhanath Swami mentions that we must not be fair weather devotees ready to surrender to god only when he fulfills our material desires, rather we must unconditionally surrender to him.

  11. Thank you Maharaj for such a wonderful explanation. In todays life, it is very difficult for a person to fully surrender to the Lord Krsna who is our 'eternal father'. Our aim of life is to surrender to Him, to love Him, to serve Him, but because of illusion we are not able to surrender Him completely on our own. So Krsna is helping us by putting us in such a situation that we will call Him eagerly.
