Radhanath Swami on the Boat, River and Storm
In the river of time, during the storm of death, the boat of this body will sink. None of the phenomenal knowledge of this world will be able to save us then. Only one kind of knowledge will allow us to meet death happily and attain eternal reality – the knowledge that we are all part of God and His eternal servants; the knowledge that He is non-different from His Name. The greatest knowledge is that which impels one to sincerely take shelter of God’s Holy Names. For one who takes His shelter, He removes the dark fog of material illusion and reveals Himself.
