Just surrender to Krishna!

Whatever Krishna does to His devotee is perfect. It is easy to say that, when everything is going the way you like it. But when everything is going against you by all material standards, to be very peaceful and undisturbed and say everything is perfect according to Krishna’s plan, that takes realization. If God is perfect, everything that comes from God must be perfect. The only imperfection is if we do not see the connection to God. Then our vision is imperfect. Everything is perfect except our vision. This consciousness is the only consciousness that brings peace. As long as you are battling against the material nature, let me tell you right now, you are a loser. No one can conquer material nature! As long as you are going to fight the problems of material life you are fighting a losing battle. Maya is so powerful (material energy). She is so powerful that the most you can accomplish is that you work so hard that Maya just plays with you to make you think you are winning.

    Thankyou for enlightening us H.H Radhanath Swami on the futility of trying to fight maya. The best is to take shelter of Krsna as You mention so many times in your discourses.

    Radhanath Swami has made a wonderful point - if we do not surrender to God, we end up surrendering ourselves to Maya. And it will lead us to total discontent & misery just endlessly trying to satisfy the insatiable desires of the mind without finding any lasting peace or happiness.

    Wonderful article.

    Maya is so powerful, it is very difficult to overcome/supass her (Material energy)unless and until surrender unto Lotus feet of Lord krishna.

    What a reality Radhanath Swami is trying to explain to us. Even Lord Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita that "The divine energy of Mine is very difficult to overcome and only by surrendering to Me, one can overcome her". If Lord Krishna is saying like that, then how we can think that by our mere childlike efforts, we can conquer her.

    I liked that line when Maharaj says fighting against material nature is like fighting a loosing battle. Still foolish mind thinks one day ONE DAY everything will be fine..such a looser mind we have in the eyes of the truth!

    "A person's greatness is measured by how he tolerates provoking situations". Radhanath Swami has tried to have faith in guru and God. And one who does not deviate from this faith even in the most adverse situations, he is the real devotee.
