Radhanath Swami on Spiritual Inheritance

Be an accountant, doctor, lawyer or anything, but don’t be motivated by greed, egoism, lust, envy, anger and pride. Be motivated by your own inherent nature, as an instrument of God’s compassion. Therefore in spiritual life, higher or lower is not how much you can accomplish; higher or lower is the purity of your motivation, the spirit of your compassion and love. That is what God sees from within our hearts. In this way, the path of devotional service is equally open for everyone and anyone without discrimination. It is our natural, spiritual inheritance to love God and experience the unlimited pleasure of that love and express that in everything we do.

    Herein Radhanath Swami Maharaj has laid bare the founding principle of spirituality. All devotees are considered equal irrespective of the type of service being performed. What matters most is that the motivation & mood in which the devotional service is being performed should be pleasing to God.

    Nicely said by Radhanath Swami. When we get re-positioned to our natural and eternal position, we don't want to change that and attaining that position is possible only by performing devotional service at the Lotus feet of The Lord and His devotees.

    Wonderful article.

    Maharaj very nicely quoted, how today's worldly peoples infected with deadly diseases like greed,egoism, lust, envy, anger and pride. In the name of religion some people cheating one another. There is only one way to get complete cure from these deadly diseases is i.e every one has to come and take Krishna consciousness very seriously.
