Radhanath Swami on The Key to Loving All

Loving the centre of all existence, God, spontaneously enables us to love every living being because every living being is a part of God. When we realize the love for God that is within our own heart then we naturally see everyone as our kith and kin, being parts of God just as every ray emanating from the sun is a part of the sun. The inseparable part of God can be seen in every living being regardless of gender, nationality or caste. Once we understand our own relationship with God, we can see that every living being has similar relationships. This sense of commonality unifies us and there is love and compassion towards every one.

    By watering the root of a tree, every twig, leaf and branch is automatically watered, similarly by loving God we will have love for all of Ceation automatically.

    God is omnicient and omnipotent. Thus loving him includes full justice towards loving everything. No human can do justice of love besides loving God.

    That is the problem today - we all are loving our own family, community, city, country, sports team. Everyone has his own centre which is colliding with others'centres and hence all these wars, fights, envy etc in the world. As Radhanath Swami says if we all would love one common centre - God, then automatically there would be better relationships among everyone.
