Radhanath Swami on God is First

The real glory of our life is in God’s glory. Because we are His part and parcel, our eternal nature is to glorify, with great pleasure, His greatness - not our own. To the degree we think very highly of ourselves, to that degree we underestimate the position of God. But by keeping ourselves last, we’ll always be conscious that God is first.

    These are profound words from Radhanath Swami. It took me some moments to begin to recognize that.

    Very rightly said, hope this consciousness should be developed by all, which will bring us all close to God. Generally the tendency is opposite to glorify our self more and God less or no glorification. Thanks for this wonderful guidance.

    God is always first in any thing of substance. He is the '1' before all the '0's that gives value to the zeroes.

    That is why somewhere else I read that Radhanath Swami always looks for the divine okay, in anything that he looks to accomplish.

    But nowadays we see people follow totally opposite beliefs to those which Radhanath Swami has stated here - everyone wants to be first, just think about themselves and let everyone else, including God be last or not be there at all.
