Radhanath Swami on To Love and Be Loved

The Srimad Bhagavatam (a Vedic Text) explains that the supreme occupation for all humanity is loving service to the Supreme. Such love must me unconditional and unmotivated to completely satisfy the self. Every living being is looking for, longing for, and searching for one thing in every aspect of their life - pleasure. There’s pleasure for the senses and there’s pleasure for the mind, but there’s only one thing that can give pleasure to the heart - the sitting place of the self or soul. And that one thing is love - to love and to be loved.

    this is the need of each soul. and can be fulfilled only by gods love and no other material love can satisfy.

    Rightly said by Radhanath Swami. Loving exchanges are present in all the living entities including animals because that's the part of our constitutional position.

    Wanting to be loved...yes that is everyone's greatest wish..whether its by your friends, or family, or co-workers..or complete strangers...we need love from some place..but the ultimate place..or person to recieve that love and reciprocate that love is Krishna!

    We see how the whole world is in a state of turmoil mainly because of this reason that Radhanath Swami mentions here - people are not getting true love. Everyone is looking for real unconditional love, but in the wrong places.
