Radhanath Swami on Transforming, not Annihilating

On the path of devotion to the Lord, to annihilate the desires of the mind and senses is not at all our goal. The real path of truth is to transform those desires towards service, our constitutional position. We can only give up the lower impulses when we experience the higher fulfillment of love which comes through service to God.

    Very important instruction to remember, as the tendency is somehow get remove the anarthas. But it has to replaced by positive higher taste.

    Very true. "Param drstva nivartate". Radhanath Swami has shown us a path which will lead to total absorption of our thoughts unto the Lotus feet of the Lord.

    Generally people think that pursuing the spritual path means killing all one's desires.....but Swamiji here beautifully explains that we don't have to kill our desires instead transform those desires in God's service.....
